This wonderful sound assemblage begins with the sound of wind across an arid desert (filtered white noise) and a soundbite from atom bomb designer J.R. Oppenheimer garnered from the NBC Newsarchives, and then continues with very moving settings of the Catholic requiem mass and extracts from "Adon Hakoi Mehatteh Kol Neshamah" from a Unesco recording of Yemenite Jewish singing. All elements are beautifully and very movingly blended with additional keyboards, violin and viola. ~ "Blue" Gene Tyranny, All Music Guide
