    The first three box sets devoted to compiling all of Depeche Mode's A- and B-sides were originally issued in 1991. In 2004, when the fourth through sixth sets were issued for the first time, the initial three were reissued. The second box, covering 1983 and 1984, includes the "Get the Balance Right!," "Everything Counts," "Love in Itself," "People Are People," "Master and Servant," and "Blasphemous Rumours" singles. A handful of nonalbum tracks are made available here, along with several remixes, extended versions, and live performances (one from Hammersmith Odeon circa 1982 and another pair dating from a 1984 Liverpool show). Each single is packaged individually in a slim jewel case, providing a convenience for hardcore fans. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
