    The title of Sony Music Special Products' Greatest Hits of the Eighties, Vol. 3 shouldn't be taken literally -- after all, there are no Prince singles featured on the collection, and he was certainly one of the biggest hitmakers of the era. Instead, it should be thought of as a random sampler of hits from Columbia and Epic artists. If you have those expectations, the disc will be quite enjoyable, since it contains such staples as "Burnin' for You," "Voices of Babylon," "Cum On Feel the Noize," "I Wish I Had a Girl," "Goody Two Shoes," "Poison" and "I'm No Angel," all of which are enough to make it worth its budget-line price. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
