Ray Conniff's Here We Come A-Caroling is a chipper, upbeat album that feels like a '60s commercial for Christmas more than anything else. The overly cheery, goofy presentation actually makes the album far better, giving the songs the right twist for the time of year. The Christian point of view may put off some listeners who do not share the same beliefs, but this is a mostly harmless trip down nostalgia lane that may appeal to lovers of the ironic as well as fans of this time period of music. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
