While the selection of music on Wine Lounge isn't limited to artists from famous wine-producing countries, and though it's more lounge than enoteca, all of the songs included on the collection could accompany a glass of one's choosing (either red or white) just fine. The music is light and summery, full of Brazilian and Latin rhythms and smooth jazz grooves, and the two-disc album promises 25 songs, though seven of the artists actually have two tracks on the compilation (never on the same disc, however). Not a lot of huge names are on Wine Lounge (Tok Tok Tok, Daniela Mercury, and Groove Collective are the exceptions) but it's a consistent release, and would work well as background music while another bottle of Chianti (or Chardonnay or Riesling or Pinot Noir) is opened or another martini is shaken. ~ Marisa Brown, All Music Guide
