Riverside Profiles collects tracks recorded by influential guitarist Wes Montgomery for the label during the early '60s. These are some of Montgomery's most recognizable cuts and included here are such tunes as "Four On Six," "West Coast Blues," and "Groove Yard." This is a supremely listenable collection -- as most Montgomery collections are -- and works as a great introduction to his iconic sound.
