    All Music Guide Review

    Released in 2002, Icol Diston compiles three of Arovane's early 12" records previously unavailable on CD: Parf (Din, 1998), Icol Diston (Din, 1998), and AMX (Din, 1999). Though this early work isn't nearly as developed as what would appear a bit later on Atol Scrap and Tides, it certainly should interest the many listeners who marveled at those albums. Plus, it's nice to have these recordings compiled on one CD for anyone not interested in seeking out vinyl EPs. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
