Metro's 2004 collection Latin Fever! The Best of Snowboy's Acid Jazz Years serves up exactly what the title says: a collection of 14 highlights from the mid-'90s, when the percussionist was cutting groovy amalgams of Latin and acid jazz. Some of this stuff might get a little silly -- there's a cover of "Meet the Flintstones," after all -- but for the most part this is a lively, engaging, fun and adventurous set of Latin-tinged acid jazz, and a good introduction to this formative phase of Snowboy's career. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
