    Composer John Powell's score to the 2006 animated penguin film Happy Feet is a hugely robust and lively affair that matches well to the images and story concerning a dancing penguin. Capturing both the cuteness of the main penguin characters and the minimalist and icy Arctic backdrop, Happy Feet finds Powell mixing Gregorian-style vocal sections with wide swaths of orchestration and even some pulsating electronic flourishes. He even makes room for some stylistic asides such as the Spanish folk guitar inflections on "Birth of Mumble" and the propulsive flamenco rhythms on "Bob's Led."
