1985's One Struggle One Fight album debuted on the Varukers' own Liberate label; 21 years on, Captain Oi appended the original 13-track LP with no less than nine bonus cuts, rounding up a host of odds and ends dating from the preceding two years, to deliver a stunning portrait of the band in full flight. The four songs that comprised the Massacred Millions 12" single are probably the key inclusion -- very hard to find at the time, the original release has grown even scarcer over the intervening decades, but "Thatcher's Fortess" and "The Bomb Blast," in particular, remain crucial Varukers. The original version of the album's "Stop the Killing" is another worthy inclusion, while the set closes with three tracks cut for a super-rare 1983 anti-nukes album, We Don't Need Nuclear Force. Only ever available in Germany, the Varukers' contributions were "banged out as fast as we could in true Varukers fashion," as vocalist Tony Martin put it. It sounds like it -- and it sounds brilliant, as well. [A bonus tracks edition was released in 2006.] ~ Dave Thompson, All Music Guide
