    Disco is a genre that many people consider a guilty pleasure. Fans who want to indulge their disco jones are best served by compilations, and 1995's budget collection Disco Mania, Vol. 2 on CEMA Special Markets (a division of Capitol) is a great one for the money. Ten songs are included, and three are disco classics presented in their full-length album versions: Chic's "Le Freak," Wild Cherry's "Play That Funky Music," and McFadden & Whitehead's "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now." Other party favorites featured are the Hues Corporation's "Rock the Boat," Walter Murphy's "A Fifth of Beethoven," A Taste of Honey's "Boogie Oogie Oogie," and the Andrea True Connection's "More, More, More (Pt. 1)." The most underrated song here, despite being a hit single, is the infectious "Hot Line" by the Sylvers, a family act similar to the Jackson 5. ~ Bret Adams, All Music Guide
