Released in 2001, There You'll Be: The Best of Faith Hill was a collection designed for international markets, intending to introduce the American superstar to the world. As such, it presents her as a pop star, including remixes of "Breathe" and "The Way You Love Me" (that are nevertheless also present in their original versions), as well as her biggest crossover hits from Breathe, Faith, and It Matters to Me. This doesn't contain all of her hits, but it contains all the big hits, along with the brand new title track and some dubious selections (why is "Over the Rainbow" here?), but on the whole, it's a good summary of her poppiest material, which is often among her best, but be forewarned -- this does not contain all of her best, and it was released before her full-fledged pop album, Cry, and it's entirely likely that it will be replaced by a better, more comprehensive American collection in the future. With that in mind, this does get a recommendation, since it does have the hits, but for those reasons, it's a qualified recommendation.
