All Music Guide Review

Of all the Frankie Ruiz compilations, this is the best one indeed. Great care for sound mastering for the two-CD, 25-song package (covering a few tunes with Tommy Olivencia and the continuously reissued "La Rueda," with Orquestra la Solución), an extensive biography (in English and Spanish), and handsome packaging. Polygram's most extravagant greatest-hits package to date, a model to follow for their extensive salsa catalog.
