A nice single-disc anthology of keyboardist Alex Bugnon's work, Ultimate Alex Bugnon collects various tracks Bugnon recorded throughout his career beginning with his debut 1988 album, Love Season. Included are such tracks as "Dance of the Ghosts" from 1990's Head Over Heels, "The Lone Crusader" from 1991's 107 Degrees in the Shade, "Okra" from 1995's Tales from the Bright Side, and "Carrera" from 2005's Free. These are all solid, sophisticated instrumental pop and smooth jazz cuts. ~ Matt Collar, All Music Guide
