Colonel Abrams straddled the category of love man and disco dancer on his debut album (with a touch of the preacher thrown in), and he was rewarded with four R&B chart hits: "Trapped" (number 20), "The Truth" (number 78), "I'm Not Gonna Let" (number seven), and "Over and Over" (number 68).
