Blue Collar Comedy Tour

Since Warner Bros. released it, Truckload Sale doesn't include 2000's Blue Collar Comedy Tour Live from the Navarre label, but everything else to date is here as long as you're not counting DVDs. There's 2003's Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie soundtrack, 2004's Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again, and 2006's Blue Collar Comedy Tour: One for the Road, which contains two CDs although the second disc is only 26 minutes long and four of those are given to a Jerome McComb song. Only the outside box is new -- there are no new liner notes or any bonus tracks added to the discs -- so there's no real reason to care for the hardcore fan who has been keeping up. The first album or the DVDs better serve newcomers, but find this set at the right price and it's a good way to check off the rest of this all-star country comedy troupe's catalog. ~ David Jeffries, All Music Guide
