Eve to Adam play average hard rock with a metal bent on their third album, and their first to gain major-label distribution. They're far from the only band to use metal/pop clichés, but they're certainly here in the blustery vocals, unmemorably creepy melodies, and hush-to-a-shout ascensions/reversions back to the pounding hard rock formula on those occasions when they venture into softer/more vulnerable passages. "Comin' Home (A Stranger)" falls into some of these clichés, but stands out in this company for some more thoughtful lyrics about displacement than their typical composition does. But overall this displays little imagination that would distinguish itself within its genre. ~ Richie Unterberger, All Music Guide
