All Music Guide Review

Justo Almario is a fine reed player heard on this CD on tenor, flute, soprano, and alto. The music always has a strong Latin flavor, but is also rather commercial in spots with background vocalists on three numbers, the keyboards of Bill Cantos, and some rather funky grooves. However, it is for Almario's strong playing and the Latin players (which include bassist Abraham Laboriel, drummer Abraham Laboriel Jr., and percussionist/drummer Alex Acuna, among others) that this decent effort is most notable.
