All Music Guide Review

This is a five-song EP, four of whose songs were recorded live at the Dominion Theatre in London on October 16, 1984. The fifth track is a cover of Van Halen's "Jump," which sounds like an unlikely choice, except when you consider that, at heart, Aztec Camera is a pop band, whatever its other pretensions may be. Roddy Frame turns out to be a good, if wispy, frontman, and much of this set is a folky showcase of his songwriting. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
