    This generous 20-track collection transports one back to 1976, and it's obvious the pop charts were surprisingly varied (as they usually always are, actually, no matter what the year) and full of little gems. This installment of this series has a decided British feel, and the increasing importance of the dancefloor and disco in particular is obvious. Highlights include KC & the Sunshine Band's club classic "Shake Your Booty," Hot Chocolate's Motown-inspired "Don't Stop It Now," and Billie Jo Spears' country-meets-disco polka "What I've Got in Mind."
