Like butter or melted milk chocolate—that's how smooth Slim is on his lite and lusty R&B opus, Love's Crazy. This Slim certainly ain't shady, either, as he croons in a mid-level falsetto on women-friendly, slow jams and G-rated dance numbers that cop more than a few moves from Justin Timberlake. The album is slicker than a wet floor, but despite the polish of the production, it’ll still tickle many a woman's fancy with its sensitive soulfulness.

"She Got That" is an ode to the lady you want on your arm during a night on the town, while "So Fly," with its beatboxing and beats that thump louder than a bowling alley, is tempered by Slim's velvety vocal touch. As is the order of the day with most urban releases, the shimmery Love's Crazy boasts a stacked guest list. It's topped off by Fabolous on "Good Lovin'" and Yung Joc on "So Fly," juicing the album with a shot of extra star power that doesn't go overboard or overwhelm the purpose—providing a soundtrack for the knocking of boots.

"Sweet Baby" and "Heels On" work to provide a sonic backdrop for sharing a bottle of bubbly and laying by a crackling fireplace on those romantic nights at home. Love's Crazy is truly a sexy record that all the single ladies can tune into while soaking in a bubble bath or for the man in search of appropriate tunes when looking to nuzzle up to his longtime love.
