A sign that the end of the road may be near for RBD, the Mexican teen pop group's greatest hits were compiled on Best of RBD, a straightforward collection that includes no previously unreleased material. The CD/DVD compiles the hit singles from Rebelde (2004), Nuestro Amor (2005), Live in Hollywood (2006), Celestial (2006), Rebels (2006), and Empezar Desde Cero (2007). With the exception of "No Pares" (the token single culled from Live in Hollywood) and "Tu Amor" (the one culled from Rebels), the songs are sequenced in chronological order, showcasing the group's steady maturity as a musical act. While there are some omissions, including the one-off single "México, México" and a couple non-charting singles from the ill-fated English-language album Rebels ("Wanna Play" and "Money Money"), all of the key hits are here. Plus, the accompanying DVD includes most of the videos. All in all, Best of RBD is a well-compiled greatest-hits overview of the group's phenomenal four-year run of success, which appeared to be nearing its end at the time of the album's release in late 2008. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
