    All Music Guide Review

The title says it all: Greatest Remixes rounds up 15 mixes -- more on the deluxe version on iTunes -- of Good Charlotte songs, some done by dance and R&B remixers, some done by Patrick Stump and the Academy Is, all packaged in a sleeve bearing Damien Hirst's diamond-encrusted skull with no apparent irony. The tracks that comprise Greatest Remixes are glitzy and gaudy -- lazy, loping reggae beats slide into focus, giving way to fuzzy glam-metal guitars, thumping low-riding hip-hop beats, helium voices, white-boy raps through a megaphone -- presenting all manner of affectations meant to sound good in a club. Good Charlotte are now playing the part of Hollywood rock stars, and this remix album, more than their proper albums, fits their status to a T. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

    The Greatest Remixes Notes

“I Don’t Want To Be In Love” (Dance Floor Anthem) brought Good Charlotte to a brand new youthful pop audience. Now Good Charlotte has put a unique on twist the Greatest Hits model that will continue to grow this new base while re-engaging the fans that have bought the band’s music over the years.

Similar to the Jay-Z/Linkin Park collaboration, but still unique and original, the industry’s top re-mixers under Executive Producer Josh Madden and Co-Producer Junior Sanchez have come on board to re-mix and reconfigure Good Charlotte’s Greatest Hits.

Good Charlotte hits such as “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”, “The Anthem”, “Boys and Girls”, “I Don’t Want To Be In Love (Dance Floor Anthem)”, “Predictable”, “Little Things”, and “I Just Wanna Live” remixed by superstars FALL OUT BOY, THE GAME, TEDDY REILLY, JOE HAHN (LINKIN PARK), MILLION MANO and HOLLYWOOD, JUNIOR SANCHEZ, ED BANGER ALLSTARS (featuring members of JUSTICE), MARSHALL ARTS (from LONG BEACH DUB ALLSTARS), BUBBA SPARXX and THE ACADEMY IS.
