All Music Guide Review

Aqui Se Puede is notable for being a good salsa album -- at least what one could hope for from 1987 Fania. Not at all an old master's weak attempt to keep current, it is instead salsa to last for the rest of the century. Barretto seems content to provide his excellent conga underpinning, and the real stars are the singers and other players, particularly the two arrangers.
