I'm generally pretty disappointed in movie soundtracks, so I listened to this one with some reservations. Wow. I couldn't have been more wrong about my expectations. This soundtrack is FABULOUS. It's a perfect combination of well-known favorites (The Cure, Human League, REM) with newcomers like Corinne Bailey Rae. The only disappointment on the disc, in my opinion, is the last track. Which "conveniently" happens to be a Scarlett Johansson song. I can understand now why critics panned her solo release last year. She's not very good. BUT...just skip over this one. The rest of the CD is worth listening to without skipping a single track!
