Arista/Legacy's 2009 Legacy Edition reissue of Trailer Park remasters the original 1996 album and expands its length to a double-disc set by adding a second CD collecting all the stray tracks Beth Orton released in the wake of her debut. All the B-sides issued on the CD singles of "She Cries Your Name," "Touch Me with Your Love," and "Someone's Daughter," along with the instrumental of "Touch Me with Your Love" issued as a B-side, to a vinyl 10" of the single of the same name, are here, along with the 1997 EP Best Bit plus "I Love How You Love Me" from the 1998 Mojo soundtrack. All this material maintains the hazy, stylish electronica-folk feel of Trailer Park, capturing that specific vibe better than any of her subsequent albums, so this offers longtime fans of the LP what they've always wanted: more of the same but at the same high level of quality. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

Trailer Park (Legacy Edition) Notes
Originally released in 1996 to critical acclaim, Beth Orton's debut album Trailer Park was a fresh fusion of indie folk and trip-hop beats. Her breezy, ethereal voice and buoyant songs were immediately embraced by critics and fans, aptly appealing to both the college indie crowd and the digital dance junkies. Trailer Park
was included in that year’s Brit Award nominations for Best British Newcomer and Best British Female, as well as shortlisted for the UK’s prestigious Mercury Music Prize in 1997, with the judges claiming Beth to be the "queen of the heartbreak vocal." Beth has maintained an active career since her celebrated debut, both in the studio and on tour.
• Digitally re-mastered
• 2nd CD features rare b-sides now currently unavailable, including live and instrumental versions
• Booklet contains new photographs and personal liner notes written by Beth Orton herself
