  • How to Call a Bluff Notes

The Virgin Records debut from My Favorite Highway, How to Call a Bluff, is contemporary pop-rock at its finest with unshakeable hooks and evocative lyrics and melodies. Hailing from the DC area, MFH — Dave Cook (vocals), Pat Jenkins (guitar), Will Cook (bass), and Bobby Morganthaler (drums) — have been playing together for about 2 years, and began steadily building a young and loyal fan base starting in their hometown of Vienna, VA.

Their local success led to regional and national touring opportunities supporting some of the biggest bands in their genre. It wasn’t long before the band hooked up with local producer, Paul Barber, and highly esteemed mixer/producer, Jeff Juliano (John Mayer, Lifehouse, O.A.R.). The band's determination and DIY attitude have landed them multiple placements on MTV's smash hit series The Hills and Newport Harbor.

Buckle up for a great ride on the road to success with a killer soundtrack courtesy of My Favorite Highway!
