    Richard Berry sang lead on the Robins' (later the Coasters) "Riot in Cell Block Number Nine." On the two standout tracks on this record, he tells the rest of that story. Berry gets into all kinds of trouble on "Next Time" as the song concludes with the judge declaring, "You're gonna jail right now!" On "The Big Break," Berry follows up "Riot" as he and his friend Snake carry out the prison break. The remainder of this record is undistinguished doo wop, lacking Berry's sense of humor and deep-voiced rap. ~ J.P. Ollio, All Music Guide
