Lyrics from Just Got Lucky (Evidence)
All Music Guide Review
More goodies from the same French 1973 dates (originally issued on Black & Blue). Just Got Lucky has lots of Louis Jordan covers, along with Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown's own "Here Am I" and "Long Way Home," three Peacock remakes, and a sizzling revival of Bill Doggett's "Honey Boy." The last three titles date from a 1977 session, again cut in France, and are all Brown originals. ~ Bill Dahl, All Music Guide
