"I’m trying to bring good music back to the game," Brooklyn’s John Jackson, aka Fabolous, says confidently. "And anybody that’s bringing good music, the hype is gonna follow them."

Loso’s Way is Fabolous’ fifth studio album, to be released July 28th. The Brooklyn native was inspired to record the album after viewing the 1993 Al Pacino drama "Carlito’s Way." He says we all have more in common with Charlie Brigante than we know.

In an interesting twist, Fab, who in his long standing music career has made it a practice of separating his personal life from his rap career, has decided to deviate by incorporating a visual counterpart to his album. This DVD will be packaged with the album for a limited run, which will serve to increase the urgency in its purchase. Fab, will be providing this intimate look into his rise in the rap game and the perils that come with managing the transition from a street life to one of legitimacy. This project will not only speak to Fab’s core, but also serve as a layer to engage those millions who have enjoyed Fab’s myriad of radio hits but not necessarily Fab as an artist. Its an intimate look into the life of the man that some would call "swagger personified."

This album promises to be yet another smash as it features songs put together by producer to the stars, Tricky Stewart and collabos with The Dream, Lil Wayne, Keri Hilson, Trey Songz and Marsha Ambrosia just to name a few. And if you’re wondering, Loso also brings to life the action-packed scene in which Carlito offs a bar full of thugs after yelling, "OK, I reloaded!"
