    Back when Chicago was a smoldering rock unit with a sharp brass section and a boss song selection, the boys recorded this choice concert souvenir, released in the band's mid-80s soft rock ascendancy. Extended and powerful versions of five full-on FM classics make Toronto Rock 'n' Roll Revival 69 an excellent purchase, and the budget price makes it a complete score. Like many other big-league legends (Scorpions, Roxy Music), Chicago was a completely different entity in the beginning. Toronto Rock 'n' Roll Revival 69 captures the group in its live prime.
