Two dozen stunning leftovers from the Best Of albums. The material here is less famous, but the best of it -- "Peace Be Still," "Get on Board," "These Are They," plus the many alternate takes of Coates' best-known numbers -- ranks with the finest material produced in gospel's 1950s golden age. Coates, at this point, had taken her testifying, preaching vocal style to a new height that imbues even the tracks originally tossed aside with fierce spirit and an unquenchable thirst for freedom.
