All Music Guide Review

After failing with the edgy approach, the band enlisted Nick Garvey, ex-Ducks Deluxe/Motors, for production and moved toward a slicker, more mainstream sound -- a poor choice, considering that Garvey was probably better suited to bring out the rock & roll side of the band.
