New Yorker Ronnie Dyson trekked to the Windy City to work with Chuck Jackson and Marvin Yancy for this album. Jackson and Yancy were hot, their tunes and productions had Natalie Cole eating high on the hog, and Dyson's management wanted them to work some magic with their guy. The eight cuts consist of originals -- including "You and Me," the only hit "More You Do It," and "Close to You" -- along with remakes of the Bee Gees' "Jive Talkin'," Major Harris' "Love Won't Let Me Wait," and Leon Russell's "Song for You." While nothing earth shattering, this is a good album that merited a second. ~ Andrew Hamilton, Rovi
