    The 12 live sides here represent Charlie Feathers in some of the best work of his 1970s re-emergence -- cut on Christmas week of 1973 at the Silver Dollar Bar in Memphis, it captures the excitement of Feathers' stage act without sacrificing any musical values. Alternating ballads and rockers, he and his band keep the show going without a flat spot or even a minor lapse in excitement. Oh, maybe some of the instruments are slightly under-recorded, but the sheer spirit, power, and speed of the performances more than make up the the slight sonic imperfections. ~ Bruce Eder, All Music Guide
