    All Music Guide Review

EMI's budget-line series Radio Days is a quick and cheap serving of fine music from the label's vault, featuring some of new wave's biggest hits like Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me with Science," Talk Talk's "It's My Life," and Kajagoogoo's "Too Shy." It also includes Corey Hart's "Sunglasses at Night" and Asia's "Don't Cry," meaning that fully 20-percent of the contents of the disc aren't new wave at all. Many would say that Red Rider's "Lunatic Fringe" isn't very new wave either, which brings the tally to 30-percent non-new wave contents. Despite the presence of some bona fide classics, there is no way anyone who wants to discover the sound of '80s new wave should use this collection as a tool for discovery. ~ Tim Sendra, All Music Guide
