Paul Thorn's second album Ain't Love Strange features more of the singer/songwriter's quirky, confessional, roots-based songs, including "Liberace & Fabio," "Where Was I," "Burn down the Trailer Park," "Help Me out, Hook Me Up," and "That's All I Know Right Now." While it may not have the immediate impact of his debut Hammer & Nail, Ain't Love Strange is another worthwhile effort from Thorn. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
