But Calvert DeForest's Erotic Experience is a sampler of "who's who" in the cocktail lounge genre; each number has its own bachelor pad style. And while acts such as the Craftmatics, Combustible Edison, and Tipsy provide music to make martinis with, the seminal likes of Dusty Springfield, Henry Mancini, Count Basie, and Quincy Jones round out Exotic Experience's sophisticated swank appeal. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
