Though it's not the kind of music clubbers imagine when they think of a hot New York dance club, Harry the Bastard Presents Club H is a superb collection of smooth grooves, jazzy house, and mellow garage music, mixed to perfection and featuring some of the best producers on the house scene. Harry the Bastard has no qualms about taking the best productions, no matter how far they are removed from each other. He begins with "Deep in It" by French producer St. Germain and cycles through New York's own Mateo & Matos, Brazilian smooth jazz group Azymuth, British house experts Global Communications, and even Detroit techno producer K-Hand. Pitched at an energy level halfway between a club's peak time and a mellow after-hours vibe, Harry the Bastard Presents Club H is an excellent collection. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
