New Year's Eve: Dance Party

Lyrics from New Year's Eve: Dance Party
All Music Guide Review
New Year's Eve Dance Party is a mix of party tunes from the '50s, '60s and '70s, with a couple of holiday tunes thrown in to make the theme of the collection clear. There's a heavy concentration on R&B (as well as R&B-based garage rock), plus some funk and disco as the disc progresses in roughly chronological order. Most of the songs are fairly well-known, which actually makes it a pretty decent party disc -- and it ends with the Beach Boys' version of "Auld Lang Syne," just in case you want to time the disc to finish around midnight. (Of course, you won't be able to let it play through any other time of the year, but oh well.) ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
