There's no obvious rationale to the song selection of this nine-track compilation of live and studio recordings from Judy Garland's late-1950s/early-1960s catalog, except perhaps that all the songs, starting with the title tune, originated in movie or stage musicals. Two, "Over the Rainbow" and "Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart," are songs closely identified with Judy Garland; others, such as "Some People" from Gypsy and "You'll Never Walk Alone" from Carousel, are songs you can imagine Garland closely identifying with. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
