    With rare exception, each volume in ZYX's extensive Freestyle series is formed with a handful of certified freestyle classics and a great deal of filler. It takes a strong stomach to listen to any single volume from beginning to end, but that's clearly not the series' intended function. These are better suited for DJs and freestyle fanatics who want to obtain as much of the music as possible. Featured tracks on the ninth volume include Manifold Music's "Let Your Body Rock," Giggles' "I Will Survive," Collage's "Angel," Lil Suzy's "I Still Love You," Noel's "Like a Child," and Real McCoy's "Operator." ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
