A great import of Thomasina Montgomery (Tammi Terrell) sides. Included here are early recordings such as "Sinners Devotion" with the Shirelles on background vocals, "It's Mine" with a group called the Voice of Experience, and the three recorded on one of James Brown's labels: "Big John," "If You See Bill," and "I Cried." The collection also contains the best of her solo Motown album with "I Can't Believe You Love Me," "Come On and See Me," "Baby Don't You Worry," and "Tears at the End of a Love Affair." Further highlights are the three B-sides and/or album cuts "Two Can Have a Party," "I Can't Help but Love You," and "This Poor Heart of Mine." Seven duets with Marvin Gaye conclude this outstanding compilation. A whopping 28 songs are more than enough to satisfy the most voracious Tammi Terrell appetite, and the only fault is Marginal's below-standard mastering. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
