One of a group of recordings that have been issued by various labels since her death in July, 1999, Helen Forrest's I Had the Craziest Dream is a wonderful highlight of the vocalist who graced Artie Shaw's band and others. Featuring her sweet, honey-dipped voice and the joy and humor that seem to seep into her music, this collection presents 25 of her songs, including more than a few hits.
