This originally appeared in 1978. Marvin Gaye's "Got to Give It Up" inspired both "Let Me Party With You" and "Don't Even Try (Give It Up)." The soulful "Your Love Is So Good" shakes the imitation, while "I Got What You Need" slows the collection's frantic pace. "I'm a Fool" swirls and whistles like Sigler's work with Instant Funk. Unfortunately, the fillers equal the thrillers. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
