All Music Guide Review

This is an interesting 12" where each song tells part of a story. "Deception" is a fictional story about a rapper who sells out. The second song, "Turmoil," was produced by El-P of Company Flow; it's very abstract, and its beat is reminiscent of something you would hear on Company Flow's instrumental album Little Johnny From the Hospitul. The final song in this continuing story is "Redemption," produced by Kutmasta Kurt; as its title suggests, the fallen rapper realizes his mistakes and changes. ~ Dan Gizzi, All Music Guide
