Fairly simple grooves form the basis for keyboardist Tom Grant's originals on this CD, a set of repetitive jazz-influenced dance music that frequently has Grant singing along quietly with his instruments. Despite plenty of soloing and the use of some creative players (including guitarists Dan Balmer and Rodney Drayton), everything is secondary to the funky grooves (even the occasional soul vocals) in the likable but rather predictable and commercial program. Tom Grant's tame dreams musically depicted on the set are far from wild. ~ Scott Yanow, Rovi
