Artists from Cape Breton, Scotland, and Ireland are included, of course, but there are also performers from the U.S., France, and Spain; their varying approaches to the music give the compilation a refreshing eclecticism, making it a worthy entry in the high-quality series. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
