Patrick Forge takes control of BBE's Stop and Listen series for the fourth volume, which continues in the tradition of putting together a wide-ranging selection of tracks that span several decades and styles. As with the other installments, the tracks are not mixed -- they're provided in full, with extra attention paid to sequencing. Thanks to contributions from Kevin Yost ("Spring Again") and Crazy Penis ("Summer Bummer"), this is a little more modern in scope, but dusties from the likes of Atmosfear ("Motivation"), Ten City ("Nothing's Changed"), and Nina Simone ("African Mailman") keep this set in the spirit of the compilations put together by Bob Jones, Jasper the Vinyl Junkie, and Bobbi & Steve. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
