    All Music Guide Review

On this 18-track disc, El Records teamed up with London's Cherry Records to compile a refreshing indie pop compilation. Louis Pilippe's band the Arcadians kick of the disc with the whimsical "Chinese Doll," which is followed by the festive "Mad," performed by the King of Luxembourg. "Momus" is featured twice, on the restrained "Complicated," and on the somber "I Had a Girl." Twinkle chimes in with the Motown-inspired "Boy of My Dreams." Horns are featured on Les Barrett's "Love Me." Louis Philippe appears on track 11's "If You're Missing Someone." The Would-Be-Goods make an appearance on track 15's "Pinstriped Rebel," and the Arcadians appear again on track 17's defiant "With All Our Loving." Everything but the Girl closes the disc with a cover of Cole Porter's "Night and Day." The disc was a refreshing love-inspired indie pop collection. It was released in 2000. ~ Stephen Cramer, All Music Guide
